Dr. Price began his teaching career in the classrooms of the Archdiocese of New York and the NYC Public Schools, instructing grades 5–8. He went on to serve in administrative leadership positions in Alexandria City Public Schools, including at the historic T.C. Williams High School (now Alexandria City High School). Later, he brought his talents to Atlanta, Georgia, where he led Therrell High School and its non-traditional counterpart, focusing on reengaging students struggling in conventional academic environments.

As principal of both Hilsman Middle School and Cedar Shoals High School, Dr. Price spearheaded initiatives that earned state and national recognition. From bringing schools off improvement lists to introducing International Baccalaureate programs, career centers, JROTC programs, and innovative 9th grade transition models, Dr. Price’s leadership turned vision into measurable student success.
